COVID-19 Pandemic and Vaccination Skepticism

The purpose of this study is to examine some the reasons why people are skeptical about COVID-19 vaccination despite assurances from authorities. In terms methodological consideration, situated within qualitative research paradigm. adopted interviews and documentary analysis as main source data. themes were generated data using Voyant software, empirical discussion based on thematic approach. reveals that trust in vaccines, institutions, cultural religious beliefs determines people’s decisions a significant manner. further highlighted quick production administration various vaccines history previous epidemics/pandemic’s programs (such side effects vaccines) could have made hesitant towards vaccination. Furthermore, governments, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions informs whether participate pandemic project. Last but not least, sown seeds skepticism and, ultimately, their decisions.
